High powered and app-controlled, Honda has launched its new EU32i generator offering new features that it claims will see this advanced machine dominate the 3kVa class generator market. Honda says it has developed a generator that can be picked-up and used to power multiple units simultaneously, combined with an easy-to-use interface, high output engine and lightweight design.
Honda says the new EU32i has 3200 watts of power and weighs in at 26.5 kg, making it easy to move and also to start, thanks to a simplified 2-step procedure. The company also claims it to be the first generator of its kind to include fuel-injection, to optimise fuel flow and burning efficiency, and minimise emissions. An Eco throttle adjusts the engine speed to produce the specific amount of power needed for the application in use. Meanwhile, a redesigned interface is easy to use, with the front panel clearly showing everything from the on/off settings and status lights to the Eco throttle and circuit breakers. Honda says the design is also uniquely its own, the angular shaping, “A bold and iconic representation of the intelligence and uniqueness it promises to deliver. Echoing the modern design styles across the Honda range, it is a generator like no other”.
A claimed intuitive app control now allows users to pair the generator with dedicated iOS or Android smartphone apps via Bluetooth to send maintenance alerts and key service information. The fuel gauge can be checked to see if the level is running low, remote-stop can be activated and output power can be accessed. There is even the capability to swap between multiple generators, allowing each power source to be uniquely named and monitored simultaneously.
Honda says its new EU32i is ideal for anyone seeking a reliable long-lasting power source that is highly dependable for their RV or for use in the case of natural disasters and recurring blackouts. The EU32i Generator is now available from Honda’s Authorised Dealer Network and has an RRP $4199. You can find more details on this and all Honda generators at honda.com.au.
