Camplify, the Airbnb of RV rentals and the largest operator of its kind in Australia, has moved into new RV sales. It’s first offering is a two-berth campervan – the Summer Series – priced at just $54,999 driveaway and with an impressive average earning potential of $15,000 annually. Manufactured by Sydney-based Suncamper Motorhomes, it’s suitable for private use and as a daily driver, but is primarily intended as a rental vehicle tailored to Camplify’s requirements.
Camplify says, “The Summer Series is a brand-new 2022 model LDV G10+ van, custom built for us and is the perfect rental campervan, offering big value for money. Compact in size but spacious on the inside, this two berth camper has everything you need in a cozy space. It is big enough to comfortably fit two adults, with a drop-down table and chairs that convert into a large double bed, and fitted out kitchen area at the rear of the van”.
The company says the Summer Series van is ideal for those starting out in the campervan rental market, as well as, “Those wanting an easy to drive compact camper that has it all”.
According to data collected over its seven years of operations, two-berth campervans are the most sought after and frequently rented vehicles, with each returning an average $15,000 annual income to owners.
Based on Suncamper’s Sandy campervan, the Summer Series from Camplify is offered with exclusive inclusions valued in excess of $1500. These comprise NRMA Roadside Assistance, a GPS unit and tracking plan, and a comprehensive insurance solution. All three are for a period of 12 months and are intended to help get new rental owners off to a flying start.
The Summer Series van fit-out includes:

- Double sided couch that converts to a large double bed

- 30-litre 12-volt fridge
- 43-litre water tank plus a stainless steel sink with tap
- Portable butane stove
