KT Insurance to the Rescue!
Firstly, I’d like to thank each and every member, customer or not, who took the time to have a chat with me and the KT Insurance team at the CMCA Rally in Bingara.
We’d missed the buzz of a CMCA Rally and while it was a fine party with plenty to keep us all entertained, we sincerely valued the opportunity to capture feedback on everything KT Insurance as an exclusive offering to CMCA members.
Speaking of how seriously we’ve taken supporting the lifestyle of CMCA members for over 30 years, I’d like to focus my column this month on two pieces of customer feedback that warmed my heart. For the privacy of our customers, we’ll change their names in the quotes below; let’s call them Barbara and Linda.
For Barbara, our Medical Emergency Assistance Cover sprang into action when her health took a turn for the worse, leaving her suddenly unable to continue driving her motorhome.
“I would like to thank the KT Insurance team for their assistance during my recent medical episode in the Northern Territory,” says Barbara. “It wasn’t easy finding myself suddenly blind in one eye, thousands of kilometres away from home and family, with my little poodle and a motorhome I couldn’t drive because of my lack of sight! It was reassuring and comforting once I contacted the KT Insurance office to tell of my situation and to have the wheels set in motion to get my motorhome back home to me and compensation for my travel expenses. Thank you to the KT Insurance team once again for looking after my claim so efficiently!”
For Linda, flooding on Australia’s east coast devastated her home and motorhome in one hit. Even with the high volume of insurance claims that this natural disaster generated across the industry, we were able to urgently settle her motorhome claim with a total loss payment only 10 days after the vehicle was assessed, giving her one less thing to worry about while still reeling from her life being tipped upside down.

I valued and appreciated her support immensely, and she gets my 200 per cent tick of approval! I could feel through the phone that she loves what she does, is passionate, genuinely empathetic, and she took the time to listen and understand my situation. In insurance, we get put to the test when things don’t go to plan for our customers. This is why the KT Insurance team is so heavily focused on going above and beyond in making sure that when something does go wrong, we do our best to make it right. Neither of these claimable events were positive experiences at the outset, nor were they straightforward matters to resolve, but by living up to what makes KT Insurance different, our team drew great satisfaction in empathetically supporting our customers during their times of need.
